ABOUT THE PROJECT

EcoDiscovery is a small-scale Erasmus+ partnership for playful environmental education.

The project brings together schools and organisations from Czech Republic, France and TĂĽrkiye to design ECOTOPIA, a serious game that turns complex environmental topics into interactive missions.

Students aged 10–14 strengthen digital skills, STEM literacy and critical thinking while teachers gain practical tools for game-based learning in the classroom.

CORE OBJECTIVES

Eco heroes start with play.

ECOTOPIA blends environmental science, technology and pedagogy to create an engaging learning experience.

✦

Enhance environmental awareness

Use interactive missions to explore climate, biodiversity, water and waste themes in a concrete, memorable way.

✦

Develop digital & STEM skills

Offer workshops on coding, game design, visual animation and content creation for students and teachers.

✦

Build sustainable capacity

Create long-term resources, guides and a web portal so educators can keep using ECOTOPIA beyond the project.

ECOTOPIA is an Unreal Engine game that guides players through four key themes: water, biodiversity, energy and waste. Each world connects playful interaction with real environmental action.
